League of Legends 2018 season provided the foundation for what will turn to be among the most competitive League of Legends splits in the history of the game. Following new teams, some new faces, new exciting roster shuffles and other changes which happened recently, the League of Legends professional competitive scene is coming very strong into 2019.

This League of Legends season will be one of the most exciting ever seen with amazing teams, exciting innovations added to the gameplay. We are about to see what long-standing teams such as Gen. G and SKT can do in order to restore their amazing reputation according to League of Legends 2019 preseason teams’ global power ranking with ten teams closely following the reigning League of Legends World Champions Invictus Gaming.

Invictus Gaming Going Strong Into 2019

Invictus Gaming is definitely among the best-performing teams going strongly into the new season. The team is not only the reigning League of Legends champion, but they also have managed to hang on their championship roster despite some Baolan. The team will enter the LPL with their already existing synergy. Despite the fact that the team actually stagnated in the LPL, Invictus Gaming won the League of Legends World Championship which means that this powerhouse has so much more potential for further growth especially as the team’s players are relatively young.

The second powerhouse closely following Invictus Gaming is Griffin which are KeSPA champions with an amazing potential to grow even more. The team won the KeSPA Cup without losing a single game. While some of their players need more work such as Lee Tarzan Seung-yong, the team starts their LCK springs season as the best-performing team of their region. Next on the list is Royal Never Give Up whose lineup suffered several downgrades following the loss of their star player Liu Zz1tai Zhi-Hao. Despite the fact that their roster suffered through some changes, the team is looking strong ahead of the upcoming season.

On paper, this roster is definitely the strongest when compared to other LCK lineups. Despite some issues in the team, the roster has an amazing potential which when combined with raw talent can definitely smash other lineups.

The next on the list is Gen. G which is among the strongest South Korean teams at the moment going strongly into the split. The team has managed to keep its star players Park Ruler Jea-hyuk, Song Fly Yong-yun and Lee CuVee Seong-jin who will most likely make it as a top-performing South Korean lineup. Gen.
