Group Yellow of the CWL Global Pro League will be the third group that will be playing the matches in order to determine the standings in this group. So far, Group Red and Group Blue have already finished their games in the group stage, and the third weekend in a row, we will be witnessing the matches of the CWL Global Pro League. Interestingly enough, all four teams from Group B have at some point reached the top eight a some of the biggest international tournaments and some of them have managed to do that on more than one occasion. This piece will take a look at all the teams in the Group Yellow and what they can do in the group.
eUnited had a very good period recently as they managed to win the title at the CWL Atlanta where they defeated OpTic Gaming in the final match. Because of that and because of their other results, eUnited will be the biggest favorite for taking the first place in this group. Not long after CWL Atlanta, eUnited reached the final at the CW Dallas Open but in that final, they were defeated by OpTic Gaming. Besides that, eUnited is featuring Pierce ‘Gunless’ Hillman who many are characterizing as one of the best Call of Duty players this season. eUnited is not a perfect team, and they have proven that on many occasions but looking at the other teams in the group they seem to be the clear favorite for claiming the number one in Group Yellow.
A couple of weeks ago, Epsilon played one of their best tournaments ever at CWL Birmingham when they managed to reach the final, and in the end, they won the title by putting on an incredible performance. Their form is perhaps the best of all teams in Group Yellow, and that will surely help them in their matches this weekend. However, it will not be an easy job for Epsilon to take on the second place in the group as other two teams will also be aiming at that. However, from what we have seen so far this season, Epsilon might have an advantage over the other two teams.
One of the teams that will be pressuring Epsilon will be Luminosity that became one of the best slay teams in the Call of Duty eSports scene. However, while Luminosity looks very impressive when it comes to the respawn game modes, their performance with some other modes such as SnD is not good at all, and because of that, they have lost many matches in the recent period. Luminosity is capable of defeating even the best teams in the world, but they are also capable of losing against some of weaker teams. Because of that, it seems to us that all teams in this group will be able to defeat Luminosity at least once.
The second team that will be pressuring Epsilon for the second place in this group will be Millenium. In some other circumstances, Millenium would be one of the main contenders for the first two positions in the group. However, with the teams that we have already mentioned, we are afraid; they will not have many chances. Over the last couple of months, they had some good performance, but their best performance was at the CWL Dallas when they were on the verge of defeating OpTic Gaming.
